his ears flicking as he allowed it, Ever so uncharacteritically. Fingers twitching in discomfort, Only because he’s gotten Comfy with his heavy, thick metal collar rubbing over his raw neck and shoulders. He often flinched in some fear when it was touched. Even people he trusted with his life, He would flinch, and uncomfortably shift when their touch came close to his collar. Freezing up until her fingers left the silver bell tied to his thick collar. Lips twitching.

He wasn’t Sure what to think.

He didn’t want to accept such a beautiful reminder of the past. It was rightfully hers. And he honestly didn’t think he deserved it. But, He also couldn’t Refuse either. Not wanting to hurt feelings or place any misconceptions. As he gave another small hiccup to her wiping all his tears away, leaving only red tinted cheeks as he looked up at her. Kin to a small helpless little kid who just scrapped his knee and finally got himself to stop crying over it.

And simply said-

And Thank you very much, I don’t… Know how I could repay you Rebecca.

But Thank you Very much..

-And he leaned up, to softly, and thankfully kiss her cheek. In hopes that was an Okay start with repaying her for her kindness-

Rebecca noticed the other being uncomfortable and gave him a look that said ‘Sorry, I don’t know where else to tie it…’ Once it was tied on, she gently moved it so it would chime for him again.

“You can repay me by living for the people ya love.”

And with the kiss, her face hilariously lit up in a bright blush.

She attempted to hide it by hugging the other, the bell chiming some more. A retired champion of an entire region but she still gets embarrassed when given affection. Go figure.
