Instincts told him to run away. That humans were, by nature, cruel. It was a feeling he had to fight back. Maybe he was thinking about this the wrong way? Maybe humans were completely different creatures when they weren’t living in constant fear. Maybe this behavior was something, not to be nervous of, but to embrace. To be thankful for.

Thoughts like that helped Silver to smile again. The idea that humans would be this kind when he finally managed to save his world. A shaky step forward as he accepted what was given to him. “Um… thank you.” His head was still bowed, but there was a hint of a smile.

“You’re welcome, hun. Those are actually two of my personal favorites so I’m more than happy to share ‘em with ya.”

Rebecca gave him a bright smile in return. He was nervous but she felt that he was a sweetheart. She hoped he’d like those berries. The trainer closed her back and stood back up, giving him a slight nod to say that it was okay to eat them.

“The blue one might be a little bit hard but it softens up when in body heat.”
