When the human backed off they were able to calm down a little bit. Getting close enough to the strange blue thing to sniff it they didn’t think it was a Pokeball. If it was they would have thrown it instead of setting it down like that.

Going back into their corner they tried flying or teleporting again but still nothing happened. If those two things didn’t work maybe they could read the Human’s surface thoughts. Focusing as much as they could they tried to establish a mental link with them, hopefully without them knowing.

‘I didn’t mean to scare the little one…’ She thought to herself. ‘I hope they like Oran Berries. It should heal that bump on their head.’

‘I thought a robber had broke in and acted without thinking again. I’m an idiot.’

Rebecca quietly sighed, not realizing someone was listening to her sad thoughts. She quietly rinsed off the last of the berries, taking the basket over to the fridge.

‘Time to put these in the fridge. I wouldn’t want them to spoil and stink up the fridge. Again.’
