Hugging their own sides they did their best to listen. Mewtwo had no idea what bandages were and figured they were something trainers put on their Pokemon. They opened their mouth to speak before remembering that they actually can’t speak really. It took a few moments to remember the correct way to respond. The Pokemon gave a small nod, haven’t had to do that since figuring out telepathy.
Rebecca gently unwrapped the bandages around the little Pokemon’s second neck to gently clean the wound with the warmed water there before putting new bandages on it. She was taking great care to be gentle, making sure to not make them too tight.
“There. All done with that. I’ll take the sheet off and get you a warmer one.”

With her headphones off, she was simply mumbling to herself, giving them a little smile when they responded with the nod. She carefully unwrapped them from the sheet, placing a new, warmer one under them before gently swaddling the little Pokemon in it.
“Perfect. Feel a bit better now that you’re nice and toasty warm?”
