Setting their tail out of the way Mewtwo got as comfortable as they could. They were still in a great deal of pain but the trainer’s song did help. Their face turned to one of disappointment after she dragged out that last note.
‘Why did you stop?’
The little one didn’t even realize their telepathy is starting to work again.
That nearly startled the champion and she looked down at the little Pokemon with a warm smile.
“Well, the song’s over. Would you like me to sing another?”
She gently bounced them in her arms a bit, looking a tiny bit tired.
