–The boy gasped, feeling the wind on his face as the smile was still there and let out a joyous laugh that was so rare. So full of pure happiness as he held his arms wide and spread to as if he was pretending that he was flying too and he looked like the weight of the world was lifted off of his small shoulders. He didn’t hear Rebecca’s comment about getting sick as he enjoyed the ride.

Wally never felt so free and so… Content. Indeed, this was a new chapter that was now turned away from being isolated in the bed and being so lonely. He was with someone who knew the true meaning of freedom which meant a lot.–

Once her stomach settled, Rebecca let out a soft, excited laugh. She had always been asleep on her flights due to her airsickness so she never got to feel the wind in her short hair.

“It feels great up here!”

“Hey, Cuz? Since we’ll be up here for a while, y’can ask me whatever y’like.”
