"Do it and I’ll scratch your eyes out so you can be blind on top of everything else.”

“Go ahead, I don’t need ‘em.”

“I believe the words you used were ‘stop struggling’, yes? Do please tell me what that sounds like out of context. He already told you to get away and get off more than once. You clearly have functional ears, use them.”

Rebecca was fast asleep in her futon, her arms gently curled around the tiny egg in the incubator. She had been exhausted from the day, trying desperately to keep the little egg warm.

Her and Kin had been so relieved when they felt something move inside of it, indicating that the little one was alive. After that, it was a matter of keeping the Pokemon alive, thus the idea of the normal incubator.

Kin is just going to cling tightly to her, trembling at both the fact that he was bleeding & hurting and that he just socked someone in the face out of rage.

“It hurts…hands hurt…” was all about he managed to get out before burying his face into her shoulder, just about ready to let tears fall.

Rebecca started to hum, remembering that the vibrations of it helped comfort him.

She kept humming, gently petting his quills as she held him close.

“Broken? His foot can’t even be that badly hurt. I’m not physically capable of injuring another person. Not without some kind of blunt object.”

“How do you know that for sure? Everyone is different, alternates or not. It could have broken and he never noticed.

I need to make sure he’s alright now. If you’re gone by the time I get back, I won’t press charges so long as you never harm Kin again.”

And she turned on her heel and went back inside her home, Triton spitting a bit of Ice Beam in front of Ray’s feet before following behind her. It wasn’t enough to freeze his feet, just enough to freeze the ground.

He couldn’t hear her but he was sure as hell looking for her, his now severely burnt up hands hidden in his cloak so as not to freak out anyone who saw him.

He saw her! And was now heading straight for Rebecca, looking completely panicked and hurting as he proceeded to cling to the human.

Rebecca knelt on the ground, holding Kin close and tight.

She gently pet his quills, simply kneeling there as he clung to her. The first aid kit was sitting by her feet, forgotten as she tried to comfort him.

“…Reasons why I prefer the city. The roads are always kept smooth. This is pretty and all, but to live at a location with dirt roads.” Shudders.

“I have no reason to run, although if I chose to leave on my own accord I’m sure you’d call it running, even though I have other places to be, and other people to mess with. Don’t equate one action to treating someone like garbage. It doesn’t work that way. I thought you had grown past making snap judgements.”

“I live on a cliff. I can’t exactly have people come in and pave the road. Walking down a forest path is relaxing for me.”

“There are trash cans where if you push the bottom pedal with your foot, the top opens up. I was speaking literally.

If you run but never both Kin again, I would have no problem with that. I have to make sure his foot isn’t broken, after all.”
