“Heat? What’s going on over there?”

“Heat? What’s going on over there?”

"Warm baths?”
“Close. Oreo cookies!”
“Oreo… Oh! I haven’t had those since I was a kid.”

“I used to have them with milk every night. They’re quite soft and chewy when soaked a bit in milk.”
A small laugh was given at Rebecca’s response.
“I don’t think I’ll be tripping over anyone. Also… Seriously? A ball of cotton? Whatever it is, it must be a strange creature.”
Says the immortal hedgehog-alien hybrid.
"Y’wanna meet ‘im then?”

“Marshmallow is definitely a ‘strange creature’ by that definition.”
Rebecca chuckled a bit with a bright smile. This subject was a lot better than the other one.
-Heat blinked, giving another nod.-
Ah, I understand this concept…
-He quietly walked with her until they hit the store. Patient when she opened the door.-
Indeed, let us hope that there are pleasant finds here.
-Heat then shifted himself in, having always thought that was for the other person to walk in, lightly pulling her with him to join within the confines of the store as he glanced around.-
“This is a pretty good collar store so the selection should be great.”

“Ah, there they are.”
Rebecca pointed at the back, a royal blue curtained doorway. There was a small sign on it reading ‘No Children Allowed’. Rebecca kissed Heat’s forehead and gently tugged his hand to follow her behind the curtain. What was behind there was a large selection of human collars in the smallish room, fabric and leather alike.
“Take your pick, Heat. Y’can get as many as you’d like.”
-Heat gave a small nod, crossing his arms again it seemed.-
Yeah..
It’s nice to not be noticed..
I’m sure it is, though I don’t know what a District is.
-Heat idly blinked, feeling well however, for some reason he wanted to become distant, more in the sense of thinking what he would normally be rambling on about like an old man.-
“I’d probably be mobbed by rabid fans and we’d both get hurt.”

“A district is basically a section, simply enough.”
Rebecca spotted the collar store, walking over to the door and quietly opening it, still holding Heat’s hand as she held open the door.
“In we go.”
-Heat softly muttered something, along the lines of ‘Thank you’ in a quiet voice, as if not wanting her to hear it. Before following her like a puppy would.-
… Alright, I am content with this distance. Rather than being across the area and…
With more people…
Rebecca simply kissed Heat’s forehead again, not revealing whether she heard or not as she walked by Heat’s side.

“I’m content with it too, I’m kinda famous in this region so it’d be good to get there and back before anyone notices that we were there. With that said, it’s a very beautiful shopping district.”
Ah… I see.
This is good to hear, although I do not know what could happen to a lone pretty lady on the beach.
If you wish so yes.
-Heat said simply, closing his eyes and inhaling deeply, nose twitching to the unfamiliar scent.
Before he silently fumbled himself closer to Rebecca.
He didn’t have the heart to tell her that this open space was starting to make him feel sick.-
Rebecca wrapped a gentle arm around Heat’s shoulders to hold him close, softly kissing his forehead before starting to walk again at a pace that Heat could match.

“Once we get into Undella, the store’s just a few steps away from the forest.”
…
I bet that… Clyde would like this place…
-Heat said a bit randomly, crossing his arms and looking down to the sand. Standing up as he often did, rather than the option of sitting.
He was a bit tense.
He didn’t want to sit.
Heat took a deep inhale, and a calming exhale. Glancing up to the water again.-
…
What if you go alone though?…
Who’d be there to watch your back?…
“I’d bet. It’s a very beautiful place.”

“Go alone? Never gonna happen. I always take my team with me.”
Especially in this day and age where a young lady on the beach alone is just asking for theft or kidnapping.
“Y’wanna keep going?”
“Alright.” That was the part he was anticipating. Actually getting into the tub. Silver had never sat in standing water before. He was both nervous, and excited to try it.
“I got a really nice herbal bath soap a few days ago, it smells like green tea.”

Rebecca turned the shower head on again, carefully rinsing off Silver’s fur and making sure she didn’t miss any blood. When she was satisfied that she got it all, she turned off the water and grinned.
“Alright, in ya go. The plastic wrap is still holding strong and I tied it nice and tight so it won’t come loose in the water.”
-Heat stopped as well, glancing back to the scenery, and softly tapping his cheek against his finger.-
… Yeah..
It’s, very pretty…
I’ve never really seen a place like this… Or, that many places to begin with outside of books…
Although, it seems a bit…
of an easy place to get snuck up on…..
-Heat gave a small sigh, actually quite glad he wasn’t down there, he’d probably feel the urge to cry.
Large spaces often made him nervous for the reason of being able to be snuck up on.-
I’ve only heard Angel sing sometimes, though not very much anymore… I still enjoy the memory of his voice when he did.
“That’s why you go to a beach and have a few people with you, so y’don’t get snuck up on.”

“Marshmallow’s singing is quite pretty, I often fall right back asleep when he wakes me up with it. He only does it with people he likes though.”
Rebecca leaned against the nearest tree, looking out on Undella Bay. It would never stop being beautiful to her, there was no doubt about that.
