It wasn’t as if he didn’t want to answer, he just didn’t have an answer to give. There was no real clue to him as to what was bothering him, other than everything, and nothing that was out of the usual. It just seemed worse than normal, if it was the weather, or something he’d heard someone say off hand, who knew.
She made sure to chew and swallow her dango first before responding again.
“Ahh, I see. Anything I can do or is it a ‘pile o’ shit’ day in general?”
Then she popped the next dango in her mouth, eating it happily as only someone with a giant sweet tooth like hers could.
Somehow near-silently pops up beside him, offering two sticks of dango. “Here, for you.”
“…Thanks.” He muttered quietly, though not really hungry he popped one of them in his mouth anyways, pulling one of the dango free with his teeth and chewing idolly.
“No problemo, ‘Suke. So, wanna tell me what’s up?”
Her question was a soft, quiet one. If he didn’t want to answer, that would be the only one she asked. Rebecca wouldn’t push it further. She popped her own stick of dango into her mouth, waiting for the other to reply.
