[~☪~] “Truthfully, I don’t believe that anyone really can understand people that seem to make an ass of themselves and then try to brush it off like it was the other person’s fault.” He shrugged, as he took a sip of the water in front of him.

Hearing that the guy who had tried to make her rush an order even had the nerve to say he was going to sue her. He had gotten someone upset when working in Aiya’s kitchen, especially the one who tried to make it seem like they had beaten the Rainy Day Beef Bowl. All they did was dump it into a container once they felt full and didn’t think anyone saw.

“Yeah I agree.”

“People like that are stupid.”

She huffed, eating the rest of her ramen before chugging the rest. Then she carefully put the bowl down with a quiet sigh of contentment, gently putting the chopsticks down. Mm, that hit the spot so perfectly!

“Fwah! Gods, you always make the best ramen, Shiichan.”

Then she happily handed over her bowl for a refill, quite confident that she’d be able to eat another bowl of the delicious food. After all, she paid for her own food and could more than afford it, especially on super hungry days like today.

“Refill, please!”

                          “Berries, eh, babe?

                                                     Got anything red?

                                    Strawberries?
                                    Raspberries?
                                    Cranberries?

                                                 ’Cause I’m a little peckish.”

“Yes, actually. They’re called Cheri berries where I come from though y’gotta be careful with ‘em. One squeeze and the juice inside can give you a second degree burn.”

Rebecca went into her bag and took out a small case with little red berries inside. She carefully took one out and offered it to the other with her bandaged hand.

                       ”Hey, baby!

Why’re you looking so down, dollface?
You’re in my presence, after all- –

                                                                    That’s something
                                               to be celebrated.”

“Nah, I’m not down. A day full of orchard harvesting is fun but exhausting. A hundred trees with fifteen to twenty berries each.

It’s nice to meet you though.”
