“Status effect skill. It’s not a very effective one in combat in my opinion though.”
“Status effect skill? I don’t think I’ve seen the team use anything other than Poison and useful ones… What status effect is it? I don’t think I’ve heard of it at all.”
“Thanks. And sure. I’ve never had it braided before…”
As one could imagine, Rebecca made a small happy noise, skittering away to get a spare ponytail holder before coming back to gently start braiding Labrys’s hair. Much to her utter delight, it was softer than she thought!
“It’s so soft, Labrys-chan…! Who usually takes care of it? I wanna get them a gift basket of sweets.”
The shadow grabs a chair as well, looking all excited.
“Ok. What happened? Did Yukiko threaten to light him fire? Did Chie galactic punt him into orbit?”
“Well first,”
She held up her index finger.
“The womanizer accidentally quadruple booked on the same day somehow. I’ve got no idea how that happened, truly.”
Rebecca sounded quite smug at that. Like she had something to do with it. Well, writing an ema and hoping her wish came true was technically doing something about it, right?
“Me and my Yosuke had overheard Satonaka, Amagi, Ebihara-chan, and Naoto-kun all mention during the day that they were gonna go on a date with him in Okina. Naturally, we went to watch the fireworks.
It took like an hour but the girls showed up before he did, and they were all confused as fuck because the dumb sod never mentioned there’d be other people there!. I almost felt bad, but then he showed up and started sweating bullets! I thought he was gonna die of dehydration before they could confront him!”
She started gigglesnorting, having to adjust her headset again with a huff and a small grumble.
“Anyways, they asked him what the fuck was goin’ on, yeah? Naoto-kun ended up realizing what happened first and just so happened to say it loud enough for the other girls to hear.
I have never seen a girl smack a guy hard enough to make ‘im see stars but god damn, Ebihara-chan’s got a hell of an arm. I’m jealous. Amagi straight up took out a lighter. I have no idea why she had one in the first place but his expression was fuckin hilarious.
Once the tears started though, it really wasn’t funny anymore, and I got up and went over to them, spinning some believable BS about how I was in Okina for my mom when I heard the noise and got curious.”
She got a disgusted look on her face before continuing.
“True to form, he tried to say everything was okay and had the utter balls to try to flirt. Satonaka ended up smacking him lightly, and I do mean lightly, in the sternum and he went down like a wimp. Me and ‘Suke had to deal with the girls though.”
Rebecca let out a huff, grumbling as she crossed her arms over her flat chest.
“I felt really bad for all of them after that, cause once we all got back to Inaba, they spread what happened in Okina faster than a damn wildfire during windy season. The poor girls. Ebihara-chan was hit pretty hard, Ayame-chan too. I just wanted to give them both a hug and never let ‘em go. I’m pretty sure he was also dating a couple girls in my club.”
She crossed her legs with an irritated growl, looking rather protective.
“No one fucks with my cooking club and my girls, especially not some ladies man who thinks every girl is his for the taking.”
“That actually happened in my world, the girls getting told I mean. I could tell you how it went?”
“Please tell me that they all beat the crap out of him. If so, I want the FULL details.”
“Most of them did! Me and my Yosuke had to comfort the rest though. I still feel bad that he got Ebihara-chan and Ayame-chan involved in his… shenanigans, we’ll call them? Cop a squat, it’s a long story with all the details.”
Rebecca promptly pulled up a chair for herself, plopping her ass down on it while adjusting her headset.
