“Wha- Ow!”
Rebecca tumbled over, holding her tummy.
“That hurted, you jerk!”
O… Okay Rebecca…
-He said, looking down for a moment, before glancing back up to her. He wanted to thank her but, He couldn’t bring himself to let those words out. Curling his fingers and his knees to hug himself as he waited, Laying his muzzle on his own knees. And calmly keeping an eye on her.-
“I’ll be back as soon as I can find a cup and a sink around here. This place is huge. I was lucky to find this room at all.”
Rebecca gently rubbed Heat’s head before heading out the door to find a cup and a sink.
Not seconds after, a loud thud was heard outside the door.
What about that question could have possibly made her nervous he wondered?
Leaning forward to fix the female with a thoughtful look, green eyes meeting hers with a little twinkle in them.
“Are you listening to boy bands~?”
She absolutely hated that joke.
“Why don’t you listen for yourself?”
Rebecca took off her headphones, revealing the lack of wire before putting them near Sonic’s ears. It was the sounds of the environment around them, cranked up to a high volume.
Everything was now silent for the former champion as she looked a bit irritated.
