A long time ago, the world was introduced to the concept of Quirks. Supernatural abilities that more than 80% of the world’s population now possesses. Before too long, those who had been given the gift of a Quirk got into a business that was all but fantasy until now.
The business of being a superhero.
Many unruly individuals had decided to use their Quirks for evil, and the world needed heroes to put a stop to them. To that end, academies and other such areas of learning were created to train bright-eyed young men and women, and turn them into respectable heroes of the future.
One such academy is U.A. High, one of the most prestigious and well-received schools out there. This is where those with dreams of being a hero can only hope to go to. And today, you have been accepted to join the ranks of its students. Today, you shall begin your journey to harness your Quirk, and become the hero of your dreams.
You shall become the pillars that support our future! You will learn what it means to go beyond any limits you had before! You will learn the meaning of U.A High’s motto…
In this world, many Pokemon choose to take up a job that’s treacherous, but rewarding. The job of working for a guild! Exploring dungeons and fighting any hostile Pokemon lurking about is an everyday occurrence to these brave adventurers. And today, you have been chosen to join them, and be a member of Wigglytuff’s Guild!
You will be expected to give it your all every single day, and work to help make the world a better, safer place for all the Pokemon who depend on the guild to help protect them!

Of course, an academy is just a large building in the middle of nowhere if it does not have students. That’s right. Beacon Academy wants you. They’ve been theorized in many religions and studies. Ragnarok. The Apocalypse. Armageddon. Whatever name you know it by, it has finally come. God Himself has arrived with his angels, opposed by the fallen Morning Star, Lucifer, and his many demons.
And there are more still who refuse to pick a side… who go where their natural instinct takes them. Those who want to just survive. Humanity has been caught up in forces they could not possibly hope to oppose, and yet, such minuscule beings have been known to topple giants through sheer determination and ingenuity.
What will you do? Burn a path of Chaos with the flesh of the Lawful? Pave a road of Order with the blood of Demons? Or will you create your own future?
It’s hard to hold in a groan. School is so long and boring. Homework, tests, clubs? So much to do, so little time. And you haven’t even gotten out of bed yet. Get up! You can’t afford to be late. The year’s far from over yet. And yet, who wants to go to school? You think about it for a moment, and then you remember:
I could see them today. You two have been flirting back and forth. Passing notes in class, silly letters left in lockers. Stolen glances that only you both understand. Maybe school’s not so bad. Plus, you have plans with your best friend after class. To go eat and then walk the streets, to see what trouble… I mean, fun you can find.
Perhaps, today will be more than you first thought.
