Keeping their eyes shut they had no idea what the Human was doing. Energy started to build up in the Pokemon’s body. No matter what the Pokemon tried they just couldn’t stop it. Random spurts and sparks of energy shooting out, some even from the Trainer’s body. That blue glow surrounding them both. With a loud vwoop Mewtwo teleported them both again and again, with no idea where they were going.

Rebecca had shut her eyes, hoping it wasn’t an Explosion as she held tight to the bundle in her arms. If need be, she’d protect the little Pokemon from a fall.

They were teleporting over and over, with possibly no stop in sight. That couldn’t be good.

Did she remember her experiences with that Kadabra…?

“Little one…!  Concentrate…! Focus on one point and no where else!”

She hoped she wasn’t yelling too loud, she also hoped she wasn’t hurting them with her tight grip.

“I know you can do it, little one…!”

Normally such contact would be enough to cause the young experiment to kick, scream, anything to get away. But right now anything is better than what this feeling, what ever it was. The little one’s tail broke through the other end of that sheet. Finding it’s way around the trainer Mewtwo held on for dear life.

Rebecca carefully stood up and went to sit under one of the hanging sheets, it was folded in half over the line to create a small tent. Hopefully the shade would help, even just a little bit. She simply sat there, holding the little Pokemon for as long as they needed it. Every minute or so, she’d gently rub their back to reassure them she was still there.

“It’ll be okay, little one… I’m here… shh…”

smallestclone:

Hiding their face behind their hands, Mewtwo rolled onto their side facing away from the Human. They didn’t know the answer to that question. What did they know? Everything started to look strange. Covering their eyes helped but that odd feeling started to come back. Curling inward they just decided to shake there for a bit until this passed, whatever it was.

“Oh jeez…”

Rebecca pulled a semi-dry bed sheet of the clothing line, oh-so-carefully rolling the little Pokemon onto it before wrapping them in the sheet. Thankfully the sun seemed to have warmed it a bit and she hoped the warmth would comfort them. She carefully picked them up, holding them close.

“It’s okay… shh… It’ll be okay…”

smallestclone:

Landing on the ground with a very audible thud near by. Mewtwo laid there for a few moments. They just now realized they’ve never touched this green stuff before, whatever it was it felt very odd.

Rolling onto their back they stared at the strange shapes in the sky. They reminded them of things they’ve seen but didn’t know the names for. The realization that they didn’t know made the small experiment feel something they didn’t understand.

“Whoa!”

Rebecca felt that one. She pulled back the sheet on the clothing line and was absolutely surprised to see that little Pokemon from a few months ago. She pulled her headphones on and called over.

“Erm, hello? Are you alright over there?”

smallestclone:

The last injection they were given before teleporting away made them feel strange in ways they couldn’t describe. But after a while the young one stopped caring. Floating around, here, there, anywhere. Didn’t matter to the Mewtwo. Eventually they came to a now familiar red topped structure. They found it strange sensing someone outside of the building. Floating down to see what it was their flight path was far from straight.

Rebecca was humming to herself, her headphones on her shoulders as she put up the first part of the laundry. It was a slightly breezy day but the sun felt nice and warm on her skin. The wet laundry would be dry in no time.

“Gotta put up the rest of this stuff.”

smallestclone:

At first the growl scared them but when the Human whapped the Vaporeon with a pillow they couldn’t help but let out a tiny, single mew in amusement.

Staying low to the floor the small Mewtwo slowly floated their way to the door. Hopefully they’ll pass by the bed without any incident.

Triton whined a bit at being whapped but gave up growling, curling up against his trainer before going back to sleep himself.

smallestclone:

Mewtwo didn’t know what ventilation was but was glad it did its thing. Pulling out of the carpet and giving out one final cough. The little Pokemon started to float out from under the bed with what could best be described as a look of defeat on their face.

Most of the smell was gone but some was still lingering. Enough to distract them enough they didn’t notice that wall until they already bumped into it, good thing Mewtwo was going as slow as they could.

Triton heard the bump, jumping up on the bed and starting to growl. He was then whapped with a pillow by his sleepy trainer.

“Triton, go to sleep. I can feel you growling. Quit it.”

It wasn’t long before Rebecca slipped back to sleep, wrapped in her warm blanket.

smallestclone:

Whatever that was Mewtwo was glad they were already covering their face. But they could hold their breath for only so long. The Pokemon twitched, squirmed, and fidgeted.

After a while it was too much, bad as that smell was they had to breathe. They let go of their face and started coughing before burying their muzzle in the plush carpet to try and silence their self.

“Hmn? Triton, I said go back to sleep.”

“Vaporrr~”

“Don’t you ‘Vaporrr~’ me, go back to sleep. I know you think it’s stinky but the ventilation will take care of it in no time.”

Rebecca mumbled something else before pulling off her headphones and buried herself under her blanket.

smallestclone:

The Pokemon covered their mouth, they weren’t about to start making any sort of noise but didn’t want a repeat of last time and wanted to be safe rather than sorry.

So the Human wasn’t going back to sleep. They could try to teleport out but if it didn’t work they’d put off too much blue light to go unnoticed. Not going to risk it.

Rebecca walked around the room, trying to find what woke her up.

“I wonder if Triton bit my nose again…”

“I really have to stop feeding him before bed, he just dreams of food and bites me.”

She sighed, taking off her slippers and getting back into bed. She’d sleep for a few more hours yet.

“Ugh, Triton, don’t fart in the bed- Oh gross!”

Rebecca was holding her nose as she buried herself under the blanket again. Sometimes she wondered why she put up with him.

“Gross… Go back to sleep, okay, Triton?”

“Vaporrr…”

smallestclone:

Whatever that white was it severed the mental link. Mewtwo’s eyes opened wide. Seeing the Human start to waken they quickly looked around for a hiding spot, settling with under the bed. The small Pokemon laid down on the plush floor, trying to stay as still and quiet as possible.

Rebecca sat up, looking groggy as she looked outside her window before looking at her clock.

“5:23 am? Damn, what the hell woke me up?”

She looked around her room, swinging her legs off the side of her bed to put her slippers on.
