He didn’t hear the call of his name at first, it took the toe tip prodding into his leg to actually get him to realize that he was no longer alone. Eyes flicking open, worrying for a moment it might have been someone other than his Guest that had appeared in the room with him, he wasn’t really in the mood for another scolding, instead he gave her a smile back, a small wave of his own, reaching into the pocket in his vest to shut off his music, tugging down headphones and giving a shake of white blond hair.

“You look tired, long day in the T.V World?” He wiggled about slightly, turning himself back upright in the beanbag chair, rustling fingers through his hair to fix the style before reaching down beside him for his Compendium. “We can do this later, if you want. I didn’t even actually mean to call you here today. I guess I gotta be more careful with my trains of thought.”

“I do have a request, but it can wait, if you want.”

“That’s one way to put it, haha. Saved someone today, her shadow was a little brutal coupled with a lovely surprise right after.”

She looked very proud of that, resting her head on the pillow she held. ‘Lovely’ was very audibly sarcastic though.

She perked up a bit, listening intently even if she was rather tired. She shook her head in response.

“No, it’s fine! I’m not so tired that I can’t listen and note it down!”

She pulled her phone out of her pocket and got her notepad ready to hear what his request was. Thankfully, since her mom knew she needed her phone for her personal use, her notepad was off limits to her under any circumstance.

Even so, she still looked rather tired, no matter what she said otherwise.

The Velvet Room always had a calm air to it, the kind where someone could walk in side, take a deep breath and be instantly relaxed. That being said, that sense of calm relaxation could be boring if one had a short attention span, and, unfortunately, there was a resistant of this place that did have a short attention span.

Right now, Rai was laying flat on the bean bag he usually sat on within this particular version of the Room, his Master was attending to other matters for the moment, which left him alone, hanging almost upside down of the edge of the beanbag, headphones over his ears and legs in the air, one swinging around in time with the music playing. He hadn’t quite noticed yet that he was not alone, eyes closed but still facing the direction of the seat of his Guest.

“Ah- Hm.”

Rebecca was sitting on her usual seat, leaning over the pillow she generally held onto when in the Velvet Room, looking at the attendant.

“Raiiiiii.”

She moved her foot to gently poke at the leg that wasn’t swinging with her toe. When she got his attention, she waved a little with a smile, looking somewhat tired.

“I’m here, Rai. Did you have a new request for me? Or a new Persona idea?”

She had been resting most of the day due to just getting done with a kidnapping, having spent most of her energy through the dungeon. But if the Velvet Room wanted her to speak to Rai, then she’d speak to Rai even if she fell right back asleep halfway through.

“So what’s up?”
