<”Little one, aren’t you supposed to be in bed?”>
“That’s absolutely adorable, Indigo.”

“You want a berry to munch on while you’re in there?”
“Good afternoon, Indigo.”

Rebecca gave their cheek a kiss in return.
“Would you like a berry to snack on?”
And she offered a Pecha to the little Pokemon.
The champion looked down at the little hedgehog from where she was hands deep in a bowl, her face as pink as the wonderfully smelling dough.
“Hey, Goldie. What’s up?”

“I’m making you a surprise, gimme a sec.”
She managed to lean down to give him a smooch on his head.
Rebecca sighed, at least he fell asleep on her where she could switch her lap with a soft pillow. She gently pet his head before carefully attempting to pull her lap out from under Zeke’s head and quickly replace herself with a pillow.

“And I meant exactly what I said. He’s tried five times already and he’s of the assumption that I’m going to step down if he does manage to beat me with his terrible team.”

“Oh it’s absolutely hilarious just to see him try. I never use the same team twice. He manages to get the worst match-ups possible and his strategy is abominable.”
“I think you’re askin’ the wrong person, hun. Y’need to go to Kin for that one.”

And she casually regretted nothing.
“Yes I am, actually. Shauntal is very kind, I join her and Caitlin for tea sometimes. Marshal is actually teaching me a bit of martial arts when there’s a lull in challengers, it’s quite fun.”

“Iris stops by sometimes when she’s on a break, she has tea with us often. Then there’s other region’s champions, I’ve met ‘em in tournaments and they’re very sweet.”
“Oh he’s tried, it’s up to five times already. He’s trying to convince the League sponsors that ‘A woman isn’t fit to be champion’.”

“Cynthia was right behind him. She escorted him to the battlefield and kicked him out in a rage. It was hilarious.”
Rebecca softly sighed, pulling a warm blanket over and wrapping the little Pokemon in it. Once Indigo was wrapped up, she stood up, carefully holding the little one, and carried them to bed. She gently kissed their forehead once they were in bed.
