“I –” Could he tell her? Did she even know about that stuff? “…How much do you know about me?”
Immediately she pulled out her special glasses that she kept on her person at all times, sliding them onto her face.
“Lots. People keep asking if Ted’s my brother cause I’m always hanging out with you. You’re a little jumpy at shadows and psychology is fuckin’ weird.”
“A cute girl said I have nice eyes, why don’t I remember this!” Wait, he just said that out loud. “I m-mean–”
“You can tell? Right off the bat?”
Her voice was absolutely delighted before she gently put her bag of things down and promptly hugged him. Rai was definitely in there, that much she was certain of!
“I dunno why you can’t remember, Rai, but you do remember some stuff it looks like!”
He didn’t hear the call of his name at first, it took the toe tip prodding into his leg to actually get him to realize that he was no longer alone. Eyes flicking open, worrying for a moment it might have been someone other than his Guest that had appeared in the room with him, he wasn’t really in the mood for another scolding, instead he gave her a smile back, a small wave of his own, reaching into the pocket in his vest to shut off his music, tugging down headphones and giving a shake of white blond hair.
“You look tired, long day in the T.V World?” He wiggled about slightly, turning himself back upright in the beanbag chair, rustling fingers through his hair to fix the style before reaching down beside him for his Compendium. “We can do this later, if you want. I didn’t even actually mean to call you here today. I guess I gotta be more careful with my trains of thought.”
“I do have a request, but it can wait, if you want.”
“That’s one way to put it, haha. Saved someone today, her shadow was a little brutal coupled with a lovely surprise right after.”
She looked very proud of that, resting her head on the pillow she held. ‘Lovely’ was very audibly sarcastic though.
She perked up a bit, listening intently even if she was rather tired. She shook her head in response.
“No, it’s fine! I’m not so tired that I can’t listen and note it down!”
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and got her notepad ready to hear what his request was. Thankfully, since her mom knew she needed her phone for her personal use, her notepad was off limits to her under any circumstance.
Even so, she still looked rather tired, no matter what she said otherwise.
“…foggy town type, I think. I mean, it was a very long time ago, and I honestly barely remember that visit anymore…”
She just remembered some of the people she met. And she wondered if maybe she could look them up when their school trip finally rolled around.
“That’s about the feeling I had while in Iwatodai too… Though I met a really nice girl there when I was there, and she had brighter hair and eyes than me! She helped get me through the trip, honestly.”
The girl had been really sweet, and wore headphones just like she did the last she remembered.
