Maybe calling down from her perch atop the torii gate wasn’t the smartest, but it only just occurred to the fox that she wanted to talk to that girl in particular. And jumping down in all her demonic glory would only scare the poor thing!
“You have a minute to spare? I want to ask you something!”
“…?”
For a moment, the blonde looked about for just a moment, bells chiming on the ends of her braids, blinking sapphire eyes before looking straight up at the torii gate. Well that was something she didn’t see every day. Feng wasn’t screeching, so she wasn’t in any danger.
“Erm, yes? Um, go ahead.”
“I should make popcorn…”
“Less chesticle means better dodge, and in my case, I’m flat as a fuckin’ board. It’s great.”
“It’s a good thing I don’t have any knockers for y’all to make fun of.”
“I guess with the murders and stuff, they have other shit to worry about. Though they still found the time to harass Kanji…”
“That’s cause he looks like a gangster to them. I look like a foreign twig.”
She said matter-of-factly. She had come up with the explanation on her own a while back when she attempted to figure out why she seemed to get away with more than she should.
“…kay but you can still kinda get arrested. Though I think they’d count this as self defense…”
She really should know better by now, but she worried! Seeing her friends get suspended or arrested was the last thing she wanted!
“I don’t think you have anything to worry about, Lochii. The cops here are used to Satonaka prowling around. They wouldn’t bat an eye at me doin’ somethin’ tame like that.”
If Satonaka hadn’t been arrested for her ‘patrols’ by now, neither would she for putting an asshole in his place.
