“Yeah… I think I’m finally starting to feel better.” He ruffles her hair in return!
“That’s good! I’m glad you’re feelin’ better.”
She let out a small squeak in response, pushing her bangs out of her eyes.

Approaches carefully from the front. Offers warm, freshly baked bread.“Hey Becca…” He’s taking the bread and giving it a small nibble. It’s good.
“Hey, Rai. How’re ya feelin’?”
She’s delighted he likes it. She gently ruffles his hair.
Turkey day soon, what do?
“Uh, have food, I guess? I dunno, I’ve never really adhered to having shittons of food on Thanksgiving.”
Kunai wraps his arms around her and pulls her close.
She absolutely did not just make an audible squeaky toy noise. Rebecca happily hugged him right back.
Rebecca wondered if she could get hugs too.
“I’m not too hungry right now, but how could I refuse one from you?”
“You can take whatever you like then!”
“I, uh, brought some more sweets tonight if anyone would like…”
“Just keep on being you, Becca-chi! That’s all I need!”
“Alright, ‘Suke.”
And with that, she dropped the subject and hugged him, happy to have him back. She’d make him something later to help a bit, he still looked awful.
“Meh, I’ve been worse. You doing ok? You sounded kinda shaky earlier.”
“I was really worried about you. I had to hide and wait it out ‘til it was safe. You look awful though… Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Yeah, I’m back. Uh, sorry bout that…whatever that was.”
“Are you alright? You look terrible.”
