Rebecca didn’t respond, choosing instead to focus on what she was doing.
She was hanging from a bar attached to the wall, hanging from a single leg as she held her arms up, or rather down in this case. She very carefully unhooked her leg from the bar before hitting the floor, balancing on her hands for a moment.
Then she started walking on her hands, hoisting herself up on a single hand before forming her buster.
And shot a clean hole through the specified target.
“Hey there kiddo.” There was a lackadaisical warmth to her tone as the pink-armored reploid spoke. A slight sway to her hips that was accented by a hand on her hips, served to emphasis the air that seemed wrapped around her: carefree confidence, the kind that was only ever born from experience.
“Do you know a hunter named X, or Zero? I’m supposed to be… meeting them here.”
‘Meeting’. AKA, the hunter’s newest attempt to try to lure Marino away from her past of thievery to join them. Their previous attempts had involved offers of payment that had been kindly turned out; she wasn’t in it for the zenny, after all.
“Oh, I do know them. X told me to wait here for a little bit while he finished up something.”
Her voice was quite soft when she spoke in response, and she had to brush her bangs out of her face to look up at the other. Sapphire eyes blinked before she softly spoke again.
