‘I have seen worse and it was an appropriate reaction.’

“Well he’s my best friend. I’ve seen and ‘heard’ worse, yeah, but I sure as fuck ain’t gonna stand for some bastard insulting Silv.”

And Kin quite happily hugged her right back.

Once Rebecca pulled away, she patted Kin’s head with a bright smile.
“Would you like to sit here for a bit?”
Yes Kin, pretend you’re not bright red and smile. That’s the way to do it.

Rebecca pulled him into a warm hug as thanks for the laugh.
“Still so adorable.”
He’s just going to look at Rebecca with quite the red faced look of embarrassment.

Rebecca spoke, making sure he was looking to catch her words.
“I haven’t laughed that much in a long time. Thank you.”
She gently ruffled his quills with a warm smile.

Rebecca softly laughed as Goop ended the connection, the former champion kneeling down on the floor next to Kin and gently patting his head, silently asking if he was alright.
